When?

KP09 will take place from April 16th to April 19th 2009

Where?

The place we are staying at is called Haraldvangen. It used to be a summer-/ all year camp for handicapped children. These days they are doing conferences and events as well. It is situated by Lake Hurdalssjøen and has nice outdoor areas. In addition to the normal conference facilities, it has a Lavvo that takes about 35 people. There is also a (quite) small sauna.

How to get there?

By bus

We are providing buses from Oslo center and from Oslo Airport Gardermoen on Thursday afternoon, and back again on Sunday.

Bus times are as follows:
NOTE: Only one bus will leave from Oslo Airport

  • 3 buses leave from Hotel Opera, right next to Oslo Central Station at 16/4 at 15:00. Hotel Opera is on the side of the station facing the sea and the opera house.
  • 1 bus leave from Oslo Airport Gardermoen 16/4 at 16:30

The buses leaving from Gardemoen will be parked a little bit away from the terminal building. There will be a person from Knutepunkt present in the arrival area to guide everyone to the buses.

All buses leave from Haraldvangen on Sunday 19/4 at 13:00. You will back in Oslo at approxomately 14:00

By plane

If you are coming straight to Knutepunkt, we recommend you get a flight to Oslo airport Gardermoen.

Oslo has three airports, but they are situated in different directions. Gardermoen is 30 minutes north of Oslo, Rygge is 45 minutes southeast and Torp is 2 hours southwest of Oslo. Haraldvangen, where Knutepunkt will take place this year, is 30 minutes north of Gardermoen, and thus three hours from Torp.

We are providing a bus directly from Gardermoen to Haraldvangen on Thursday afternoon. If you come later than this, you can take the train from Gardermoen to Eidsvoll and get a taxi from there or directly from Gardermoen.

By train

Take the train to Eidsvoll and get a taxi from there. It is a 20 minute drive.

By car

Follow E6 north of Oslo towards Trondheim. Get off at Nebbenes Kro, towards Hurdal and Eidsvoll verk. Follow the signs towards Hurdal on route 180. You drive for about 12 km, then you get Haraldvangen on your left hand side. Look for the sign.

Lodgings

There are four alternatives when it comes to rooms. The double and party rooms are suitable for wheelchair users.

Quiet rooms

Double (triple) rooms at Haraldvangen. Nice double rooms with bathroom. A few of these will be rooms for three.

Party rooms

We have twelve cabins that each take seven people. There is a room with two beds, a room with four beds, a small living room with a sleeping couch and a bathroom in each of the cabins. Perfect for one hour parties ;)

Dorm/Sleeping hall

There will be a dorm with twenty mattresses. You get NOK 200,- (20 €) discount for staying in the dorm.

How to join?

The registration is a process in two stages: Filling in the registration form and paying the registration fee. You are not considered a registered participant before we have received your payment.

The registration fee is NOK 1000,- (115 €).
This includes:

  • The full Knutepunkt program
  • Food and lodging from Thursday afternoon to Sunday morning
  • One copy of the Knutebook
  • Bus to and from Central Oslo or Gardermoen Airport

Discounts

  • 200 NOK (20 €) for staying in the Dorm.
  • 200 NOK (20 €) if you are under 26, a student or unemployed

If you are disabled and need to bring somebody to acompany you, your companion does not have to pay the fee.

Because of currency conversion changes, we reserve the right to change the prices in euros without notice.

Paying

There are two ways of paying the registration fee, either through our regular bank account or through Moneybookers. There is no national payment through your country contact this year!

If you are paying to our regular bank account, use the information below. Remember to fill in your name, birthdate and applicable discounts. If you are several people paying together, please send an e-mail to knutepunkt@laiv.org, where you state who the payment is for.
